The Special Representative of the Secretary General for Sudan and Head of the United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan (UNITAMS), Mr. Volker Perthes, strongly condemns the outbreak of fighting in Sudan. Clashes broke out in large parts of the capital Khartoum on Saturday morning between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF).
