The National Electric Power Company (enee) announced in the last hours the electricity rationing plan that began to be applied as of this Tuesday, June 13 in all regions of Honduras.

It was through a statement that the electric state recognized the serious energy crisis that the country is going through, which keeps the Honduran population in anxiety, due to the constant interruptions of the electric flow, which already have serious repercussions on the national economy.

As explained by Enee, the interruptions will be carried out on a rotating basis in 105 circuits of the 192 of the National Interconnected System (SIN) and will be applied to prevent possible major failures in the Honduran electrical system.

He added that during the aforementioned days, interruptions will be made with a maximum duration of 3 hours per zone, according to the daily availability of energy.

STEPS TO REVIEW SCHEDULES AND SECTORS AFFECTED BY ENERGY RATIONING

1. The first step is to enter the web page set up by Enee: plan-interruptions.enee.hn

2. Once inside the page, you must select the zone in which you reside.

For example, if you live in San Pedro Sula, the selected zone must be Northwest. If you reside in Tegucigalpa, the region is Center-South. Finally, if your address is in La Ceiba, you must choose the Atlantic Coast area.

3. After selecting the area, a search field for neighborhoods that will be affected by interruptions to the flow of electricity will open.

There you must place the name of your neighborhood, neighborhood or sector and a text will be displayed that contains the hours of power outages, as well as the neighboring residences that are part of the affected circuit.
