Check out the companies making headlines in premarket trading.

Tesla, General engines — Shares of both automakers rose in premarket trading, with gains of 5.7% and 5% respectively. General Motors announced plans on Thursday to use Tesla’s electric vehicle charging network, saying its vehicles will also use Tesla’s North American Charging Standard port in its cars starting in 2025.

Corning — Shares of the glass materials manufacturer added 3.2% following an upgrade from Morgan Stanley, which labeled the company’s operations as “risk-free.”

DocuSign – Shares of the electronic signature provider rose about 5% premarket after the company reported earnings and earnings that exceeded analyst estimates for the fiscal quarter ended April 30, issued optimistic guidance and a handful of new service offerings and hires of C-suites announced.

Adobe — Shares of the software company gained more than 3% after Wells Fargo upgraded shares to overweight Friday morning, according to StreetAccount.

Goal — The retail giant fell 1.3% after Citi cut its stock over concerns that sales had peaked.

Nio — Shares of the electric vehicle company fell 2% in premarket trading after it reported vehicle sales fell 0.2% year over year. The company’s vehicle margin and net loss also deteriorated year over year.

Sonoma Pharmaceuticals — Shares of the company rose nearly 33% after announcing Thursday night a new application for its intraoperative pulse lavage irrigation treatment that could replace IV bags in some surgical procedures. Sonoma said the treatment will be available in Europe this year and commercially in the US in 2024.
