One person is dead and a suspect is on the loose Tuesday following a shooting at a movie theater outside of Seattle, reports say.

The suspect and victim were watching the new movie “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” at 14 AMC Kent Station in Kent when gunfire erupted around 12:30 a.m. this morning, police told Fox13 Seattle.

Investigators told the agency the shooting appears to be targeted and while no suspect has been arrested, there is currently no danger to the public.

Earlier this year, there was another shooting at a movie theater in Pennsylvania, which police believe was a targeted attack.

Luzerne County State Police said in January that the victim was struck by gunfire in the arcade/lobby of the Regal Cinema adjacent to the Laurel Mall in Hazle Township.
