The seventh date of the National Tourism calendar, in Concepción del Uruguay, delivered a particular situation: the pole in Class 3 of Jerónimo Teti, who won a classification for the second time in his career, the first after eight years. In Class 2, meanwhile, Lucas Petracchini was the fastest of the day and will start from the front row in Sunday’s final.
Aboard a Chevrolet Cruze, Teti set a time of 1m32.293s, 231 thousandths faster than that of José Manuel Urcera, the championship leader and last winner of the category, in Posadas. In this way, the Scuderia JT driver repeated what was achieved on May 3, 2015 in Toay.
“He made himself beg but he arrived. Having this competitiveness is possible thanks to my team. It was a lap with just enough; I thank Santero, who aborted his lap and could have hurt me but he didn’t. That speaks highly of him”, said the native of Lobería, who is fourth in the championship and is the one who has achieved the most podiums (3) this year, in dialogue with AM590 Continental and Campeones Radio.
Precisely Julián Santero, who drags 50 kilos of ballast in his Toyota Corolla, was the most relegated among the first five of the championship, finishing in 23rd place, at 1.606 seconds. Behind Teti and Urcera, meanwhile, Antonino García finished third, ahead of Jorge Barrio and Leonel Pernía. With them as protagonists, on Sunday from 9.45, the three series of Class 3 will start.

In Class 2, meanwhile, the big winner of the day was Lucas Petracchini from Salta, who took pole position in the standings and also won the fastest series, for which he will start from the privileged position in the seventh final of the anus.
Starting at 12:20, the GR Competición driver will share the front row with Alejandro Torrisi (Nissan March), winner of the second battery from end to end. Juan Pablo Pastori (Toyota Etios) was the best in the third series, in which the safety car intervened, which caused it to be the slowest.
