A Texas mother is going through expenses of abusing her 3-year-old baby by subjecting them to “a number of pointless” medical procedures.
Jessica Gasser, 27, was arrested in Rusk County final week and is being held on the Tarrant County Jail, sheriff’s deputies mentioned.
The sheriff’s workplace has appealed to the general public to assist clear up a case of “Munchausen by Proxy,” a syndrome whereby a toddler’s caretaker – usually the kid’s mom – both makes up pretend signs or causes actual signs to make it seem like the kid is sick.

The sheriff’s workplace mentioned the medical baby abuse “has been occurring for an unknown period of time.” Tarrant County investigators imagine Gasser has had “a number of pointless medical procedures carried out on her 3-year-old baby.”
Through the alleged abuse, Gasser despatched messages to a good friend saying she would delete all of her posts on Fb about her baby’s well being, together with personal messages, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
