The anti-cannabis police mega-operation in Kurbin follows, where the seventh phase has been finalized.
Through intensive controls and successive operations, the police found and destroyed three mines found in a wooded area and difficult terrain of the village of Ferr in Shkopet, inside which 280 cannabis narcotic plants were cultivated.
During the previous 6 phases of this mega-operation, in different villages of the district, a total of 7359 seedlings and narcotic plants were destroyed, and 3 people were arrested, while 1 other suspected perpetrators of this criminal activity were wanted. .
At this stage there are no arrests or suspects. The Kurbin Police, in cooperation with the Lezhë Prosecutor’s Office, continue the investigative actions, with the aim of identifying and arresting the author(s) of this cultivation case.
According to the police, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.

The services of the Kurbin Police Station have continued intensive controls and consecutive operations, with the objective of preventing, detecting and striking from the initial stage, attempts to cultivate narcotic plants. As a result, the seventh phase of the police mega-operation coded “Imazhi” has been finalized, in the framework of which, in a wooded area and difficult terrain of the village of Ferr, Shkopet, 3 miniseries were found and destroyed inside which were cultivated 280 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings. The Kurbin Police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, continues the investigative actions, with the aim of identifying and arresting the author(s) of this cultivation case. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office for further actions.
