The arrest of Vangjush Dako by SPAK was analyzed in “Top Story” by journalists and analysts, who say that the lawsuit is related to the abuses that the government made with the palace while it was uninhabitable.
Kreshnik Spahiu said that today’s arrest does not have a political balance, left or right.
“Today’s arrest has no political balance, left or right, it is the continuation of arrests only on the left, in all these years we have not seen arrests from the right”, declared the analyst.
Among other things, journalist Artur Zheji said that justice in the country is showing a kind of independence from politics, an innovation compared to previous years.
“There can be a kind of independence, because the moment you say that there is a regime of time, it means a justice dependent on politics, which means that he is shot to commit suicide. I read two interesting things, the first is the people who suffer the consequences of the buildings, it is about residents who reported the former mayor of that time”, he said.
After this statement, journalist Anduena Llabani intervened, who added that the permit was granted 11 years ago and that the lawsuit was filed for the abuses committed by the government regarding the uninhabitable building.
“48 families had problems with the palace. Human lives were not lost, but property was lost. He gave the permission 11 years ago. The earthquake hit a building that was built 11 years ago. The lawsuit is about the government’s abuse of the palace while it was uninhabitable. Initially, they were evicted from the building after the earthquake and the municipality offered them rent, but then it was stopped. Even Dako himself has not seen the file. It has allowed residents to live in an uninhabitable building”, said the journalist.
