“Be Careful of a Genocide by Narendra Modi. Be Very Careful!! Because the “Butcher of Gujrat still Lives” and unfortunately he is the Prime Minister of the so-called secular modern day India.
Delivering a blistering riposte to Indian External Affairs Minister’s terror mantra against Pakistan, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said on the sidelines of an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council in New York that “I would like to remind the Minister of External Affairs of India that Osama Bin Laden is dead but the Butcher of Gujarat lives and he is the prime minister of India.” Bilawal’s denunciation of Indian Prime Minister Modi outraged the “Saffron Terror Group” RSS and triggered a call for a countrywide protest by the ruling government of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Bilawal while responding forcefully to Indian fabricated insinuations said that “This is the prime minister of the RSS and the foreign minister of the RSS. What is the RSS? The RSS draws its inspiration from Hitler’s SS. Narendra Modi was once banned from entering this country (United States)”
What Bilawal called Modi is not something that is new. It has been repeatedly said by former Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers of Pakistan because the title “Butcher of Gujrat” is a nickname Modi himself earned for overseeing and supervising riots against Muslims in Gujrat in 2002, while he was the State Chief Minister. 20 years have passed but the reality never faded away. Gujrat’s massacare is written in the history and “Butcher of Gujrat” is responsible for it. Many are witness to it including one who is “Irfan Pathan” an eye witness to the Gujrat massive massacre. Bungalow 18 Gulberg society Ahmedabad is a home to Irfan Pathan’s misery and pain. While the anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat were taking place 20 years back, this address in Ahmedabad witnessed 69 people massacred by Hindu extremists who were yelling “Kill and beat Muslims” along with Hindu slogans like “Jai Shri Ram”. Among those 69, 10 were the members of Pathan’s family and one was Ehsan Jafri, a Congress Party leader who was burnt alive.

Pathan recalls the incident while saying that “It was Ehsan Jafri who kept calling the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi for help but Modi did not listen to him, in fact abused him.” He says in an interview that “I still remember the disappointment on his face.”

Today, 20 years later, Modi will complete eight years of power as the Prime minister of India but “Butcher of Gujrat” is not merely a reference to an incident. Infact, it refers to a complete mindset which is prevalent today in the modern India as well. Each day, multiple towns and cities in India play have become hostage to episodes of violence against Muslims. Muslims are lynched on the streets, minorities celebrations are attacked, genocide and ethnic cleansing has become a center piece of debates. Amit Shah, the Union Home minister who is close aide to Narendra Modi said in a recent rally
Mthat “Such a lesson was taught in 2002 to those engaging in communal riots that it has led to “akhand shanti” mean “eternal peace””. This proves the mindset of the Butcher of Gujrat.
Those who speak against such violence are either shutdown by the fascist regime of the present day India or they face serious charges. Many journalists highlighting this historic continued saga were trialed and silenced. Offices of international organizations highlighting Human right violations like Amnesty international were shutdown. Voices forcefully silenced. One recent example is Vidly Tv who was banned recently in India for a web series “Sevak” because the series highlighted the facts related to the massacre led by the “Butcher of Gujrat”. Episode 4 of the “Sevak” describes Gujrat riots as one of the worst in the Indian history in which Hindus were given an authority that they are high caste people and can rape, kill and burn Muslim women and men. In the episode the girl while trusting a Hindu boy tells him that “her mother was raped and killed by these so called high caste hindu mobs” and later this girl also gets the same treatment from the one she trusted. Vidya, a news reporter recalls her interviews of the victims of Gujrat riots 2002 and how she came to know that her own brother is a deceiver. This is a powerful story line highlighting the massacre by Modi supported mobs and that is the reason it is banned today in the so called secular India. Modi wants to run away from the ground realities of Gujrat but massacre in Gujrat will always follow Modi.
The world should speak, not only for Muslims but to protect the minorities from a greater Genocide. Genocide against minorities in India is already on the cards. The world must wake up! Before it’s too late because the “Butcher of Gujrat Lives” and is still in power.
