The former vedette was moved by telling in detail what she suffered with the driver who was convicted of gender violence yesterday.
Fernanda Vives moved everyone with the heartbreaking testimony she gave in LAM (América, at 20), the cycle that leads Angel De Brito. The former vedette recounted the hell she suffered when she was a partner of La Tota Santillán, who yesterday, Friday, was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for gender violence.
Ricardo Daniel Carías, such the real name of La Tota Santillán, received said sentence for the crime of exercising gender violence and threatening his former partner and mother of two of his daughters. In addition, he was accused of threatening his former father-in-law and a young woman who served as a babysitter.
Years ago, La Tota had also been accused by his ex-partner Fernanda Vives of having carried out violent behavior against him. Yesterday, she was a guest on LAM and told heartbreaking situations about what she suffered more than a decade ago.

Vives stated: “I experienced terrible things, but I don’t want to tell a lot because I have an 11-year-old daughter. At some point, I’m going to have to sit down and talk to her when she asks.”
“I regret being the chronological line of an announced death,” he added, “because when I spoke, the facts were already prescribed, because I made the complaint in 2019 of events that had occurred in 2005, but I did it for the girls who were denouncing at that moment”.
With a broken voice, he stated: “I regret that at the time I was not heard. I filed the complaint but it prescribed. I believe that he (La Tota Santillán) is politically protected, they can enter their social networks and see it. And I think the media protected him a lot too. He was already processed and they asked him: ‘How is Totita?’”.

Crying, Fernanda Vives referred to the violence that La Tota Santillán exerted on her: “That’s why I didn’t know if I could be a mother, for example. To that extreme! But God enlightened me and today I have two beautiful children.”
Then, Vives recounted an event that occurred three years ago: “I was with Sebastián (Cobelli, her husband) in sea of silver, in the middle of the pandemic, and I heard that he (La Tota) spoke ill of me on a program. He used to say barbaric things about me and my whole family.”

Outraged, she went out to face him: “I went to look for him at the Mar del Plata pedestrian street, because he was doing theater. I needed to have him face to face and tell him everything I thought. I told him everything. ‘Why did you hurt me so much?’ , asked”.
“My husband wanted to get me out…- she added- It’s incredible that even though the years go by, you’re left hurt for the rest of your life. We are with life imprisonment. You have a scar marked inside that you can’t explain. At that moment, I hugged my children and Sebastián and left. It no longer gives me anything to see it: I went from hating it to nothing happening to me.
Referring to La Tota Santillán, he specified: “He had a gambling addiction, but I never saw him take drugs. Every time he shit pineapples on me he wasn’t drunk or high, he was fully aware. He hit me in every way.”

Quebrada, Vives recounted a terrifying beating: “Today I heard him (La Tota Santillán) on television assuring that he did not regret anything because he said that he never raised his hand to anyone. But once he dragged me a hundred meters in balls from the bathroom when I was taking a shower and he left me lying at the door of my house ”.
“I don’t want to go into details, but I don’t want him to be given more room to victimize himself,” he said.
