As per the reports the Myanmar military launched an airstrike on a prominent training camp for pro-democracy forces close to the Indian border, with jets dropping at least two bombs inside Indian territory according to eyewitnesses.
The Myanmar junta, who seized power in a coup in February 2021 and are engaged in a bloody battle to crush pro-democracy insurgents, began bombing Camp Victoria in Myanmar’s Chin state, on Tuesday afternoon, a rebel commander confirmed.
Camp Victoria serves as the headquarters of Chin National Army (CNA), an ethnic armed group which is fighting alongside other rebel groups to restore democracy in Myanmar, under the banner of People’s Defence Force (PDF). The training camp is located just a few kilometres from the border with the Indian state of Mizoram but sources have confirmed that Indians were providing hideouts to the rebels with active training camps along the border with Myanmar that pushed the later to bomb those hideouts inside Indian territory.
India has been involved in financing proxies and terror funding in many neighbouring countries including Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Myanmar. There is a chain of events when India faced embarrassment Internationally at the hands of its neighbours with multiple intrusions inside the Indian territory.

During the short aerial encounter that followed, PAF shot down two IAF aircraft and captured one of the pilots. The debris of the SU-30 fell in IOK and its pilot was killed, while the MiG-21 pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, whose aircraft fell on the Pakistan side was captured alive.

In a recent episode, Myanmar junta carried out attacks inside Indian territory against the insurgents operating from there. The ethnic armed group is fighting alongside other rebel groups against the government in Myanmar, under the banner of People’s Defence Force (PDF). The belligerent attitude of India and its irresponsible behaviour is impacting the international peace. International organisations must speak against the malicious intentions of fascist Indian government and hold it accountable for all its unwarranted belligerence. It’s about time Modi’s fascist government stops its bullying policies against its neighbours and quits its vicious role of sponsoring terrorism in the neighbouring countries.
