In Velipoja, the tourist season has started. Although the weather conditions are often unfavorable, there are many vacationers.
Mainly from Kosovo but also foreign tourists.
“I come from Romania and it’s my first time in Velipoja. I like it a lot. The water, the beach, everything is good. I will stay here for 10 days”, declared the tourist from Romania.
“I just came to Velipoja and I am very happy to enjoy the sea and spend the weekend here. At the moment I live in Pristina and I came to visit Velipoja. It seems very beautiful to me, just like the whole of Albania. Everything is interesting here”, said the Italian tourist.
For tourist operators, this season will bring even more tourists than last year. Believe me, they continue to be vacationers from Kosovo.
Velipoja reaches the peak of the tourist season in August when it welcomes up to 100,000 tourists per day.
