The footballer lost his life in the Ivory Coast, Drogba reacts

Ivory Coast football in mourning. Moustapha Sylla, the 21-year-old defender who played for Real Racing Abidjan, has passed away overnight.

The footballer showed problems during the championship match against SOL FC, held on Sunday, March 5 at the “Robert Champroux” stadium.

The Ivory Coast Football Federation has expressed its condolences for the tragic death of the young footballer, clarifying the dynamics that led to this heavy loss.

“The President of the Ivorian Football Federation and its Executive Committee regret to announce the death of the player SYLLA MOUSTAPHA, left back of Racing Club d’Abidjan. The incident happened on Sunday, March 5, 2023, after he fell on the field of the “Robert Champroux” stadium, during the match of week 20 of Ligue 1.
