“Here are the salaries of 2013 that were the highest in the region, there is none that is below Albania. Today we have an average gross salary of 530 euros, in April of next year we will be 900 euros in the public sector and for the first time in the history of all these years Albania will rise and be on a level with those who have the highest average salary being Montenegro and Serbia. It is finalized next April. Wages will go higher than the region for the first time in history. We had the intention to do this in 2020, the problem was that the earthquake and the pandemic came to us and we put in an amount that is greater than the amount we need to raise wages,” said Rama.
