On Tuesday, the start date of the 2023 Opening Tournament and how the groups were integrated were defined in the First Division Assembly.
The new season of the Primera División will have two new tenants: Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa and Iztapa, the two teams that lost the category in the last National League contest.
As defined by the leaders of the clubs that make up the second most important category of national soccer, the Apertura 2023 will begin next Friday, July 28; That first day will be completed on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30.

A: Democracia FC, CSD Nueva Concepción, Deportivo Juventud Copalera, CD Iztapa, Quiché FC, San Pedro FC, Deportivo Marquense, CSD Sololá, CSD Suchitepéquez and Santa Lucía Cotz. B: Aurora FC, San Benito FC, Atlético Mictlán, Barberena FC, Cuilapa FC, Juventud Pinulteca, Club de Futbol Universidad, CSD Sacachispas, Deportivo Fraijanes and CD Heredia.
