From this Tuesday, June 27, the Mirdita Municipality will be led by Albert Melyshi.
The new mayor, who emerged from the local elections on May 14, officially took office by taking the oath, while the Municipal Council was also constituted.
The opposition joined and managed to take the chairmanship of the municipal council, this chairman was elected Aleksandër Picaku with 11 votes out of 12 councilors who voted. After taking the oath as mayor, Albert Melyshi went to the offices of the Municipality, where he was received by his predecessor Ndrec Dedaj. Melyshi, I request the cooperation of all parties without political colors for the development of Mirdita.
Mirdita municipality will be led by the right after 12 years of governance by the Socialist Party.
