According to one report, the worst cities in the US to drive in are all run by Democratic mayors.
In 2022, travel through nearly every major U.S. city will become slower, according to a report in MarketWatch, which listed the country’s top 10 worst cities to drive in.
The top five in that category – New York, Washington, DC, San Francisco, Boston and Chicago – are led by Democratic mayors.
The data comes from navigation giant TomTom, which measures traffic misery in a creative way. TomTom tracks how long it takes the average driver to travel about six miles in every major city in the world.

Road traffic in Democratic-run cities is poor, according to one report.
TomTom published its traffic index for 2022 at the end of last week, which includes figures on suffering behind the wheel in 389 cities around the world. The numbers include 80 US cities.
Urban highway traffic in Democrat-run cities is far less than ideal, the report added.

Seven had faster commutes in 2022 than in 2021, while 11 saw no change. However, the rest spent more time in traffic. In Washington, D.C. and Indianapolis, drivers spent an extra minute and a half every 10.2 miles.
Longer driving times are common in Democrat-led cities.

The report notes a recent study by Kastle Systems, the company that secures more office buildings than any other in America, which found US offices more than half full for the first time since 2020.

The pressure to go back to the office in many cities is likely to put more of us on the road in 2023.
