In a shocking event in the province of Jujuy, a police commissioner was arrested after being accused of sexually abusing his niece and a friend of hers, both minors.

The senior police official was brought before the Justice and charged with “kidnapping, sexual abuse with carnal access, two facts in real competition.”
The zone prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, specialized in this type of crime, was the one who asked the Gender Violence Court for the immediate arrest of the commissioner.
In a quick action by the authorities, the police officer was arrested at his home and his truck was seized as evidence of the case.
During this Tuesday, the commissioner was investigated by the tax representative, who informed him about the causes of his accusation and gave him the opportunity to appoint a defense attorney.
On the other hand, the victims were examined by a police doctor and it is expected that in the coming days they will provide their testimony through the Gesell Chamber, a tool that will allow the investigation to move forward.
