Three people were shot to death in the early hours of this Monday in the Pueblo Viejo hamlet in the Zapote village of San Juan Guarita, Lempira.
The victims responded to the names of Rosa Maria Lopez (51), his son Antonio López Núñez (16) and Óscar Alexi Escobar (32).
In the armed attack, another person who was at the scene, apparently a relative, was wounded by a gunshot.
When the neighbors heard the shots they went to help them and in an attempt to save their lives they were taken almost immediately to the nearest hospital, but on the road to Guarita, Lempirathey died.
Police agents captured Santos Moisés Mejía Guardado as a suspect of having shot Rosa, her son, and the friend who was visiting.
