One of the three prosecutors investigating the death of the model Natacha Jaitt, which occurred on February 23, 2019 in Benavídez, affirmed this Sunday that “all the information” was recovered in the extraction of 56 gigabytes of content from the tablet, which he maintained that it will be “analyzed in detail”.

Cosme Iribarren, one of the attorneys general of San Isidro, assured that it was possible to “obtain all the information” that was on the model’s tablet, after the extraction that took place last Thursday in the forensic laboratories of the National Gendarmerie.

“Now we are going to analyze it in detail,” said Iribarren, who added that “a priori, the participation of third parties in the causes of death” of Jaitt is not foreseen.

“Last Thursday, with all the parts and personnel of the Gendarmerie, we were present to carry out the forensic extraction that was achieved once the UFED premium system gave the possibility of knowing the ID of the tablet that the victim had. Also Federal Justice experts were present and all the information was obtained and now we are going to analyze it in detail,” the prosecutor explained to Radio con Vos.

Natacha Jaitt passed away in the early hours of February 23, 2019.

Regarding the versions of a murder that Natacha’s family has been insisting on, prosecutor Iribarren assured that since the day of the model’s death “all the studies were carried out with seriousness, speed and objectivity in a case like this”.

“What is established is what the forensic doctors concluded in the autopsy that there was a multi-organ failure and they give us a series of conclusions that a priori do not envision the participation of third parties in the causes of death. It is in the middle of the investigation stage,” explained the prosecutor.

Finally, he said that there are testimonial statements pending to be taken “offered by the individual victim” and assured that Natacha’s tablet “is preserved and stored and the information that was obtained.”

Jaitt’s tablet, an Apple iPad model A1670, was completely unlocked on the 7th of this month in the laboratories of the GNA Criminalistics Department.

The procedure was attended by Iribarren, Diego Callegari and Sebastián Fitipaldi, the three prosecutors from the San Isidro judicial department who made up the investigation team for the case that is labeled “investigation of causes of death.”

Apart from the prosecutors in the Jaitt case, federal prosecutors Carlos Rívolo, Marcelo Colombo and María Alejandra Mángano – the latter two from the Prosecutor for Trafficking and Exploitation of Persons (Protex) – sent experts from the General Directorate of Investigations and Technological Support to Criminal Investigation (Datip).

The Minister of Security, Aníbal Fernández, explained that day via Twitter that, to open the iPad, the Gendarmerie “used the latest version of forensic software called UFED (Universal Forensic Extraction Device) acquired this year by the National Ministry of Security for the forces”.

The opening of this Jaitt device was the last measure they hoped to achieve to finish investigating the circumstances of the death of the media and influencer.

His cell phone, Samsung brand, had already been opened, but no messages or content of interest had been found there.

In March 2020, the GNA experts had achieved a partial extraction of 4.1 compressed gigabytes of the content of this iPad that included almost 20,000 photos and 370 videos.

According to judicial sources, based on the testimonies gathered and the videos from the security cameras of the event room where everything happened, the prosecutors believe that the tablet never left the model’s backpack that night.

The death of Natacha Jaitt

Jaitt (41) died at dawn on February 23, 2019 in the “Xanadú” party room, located in Isla Verde at 600, Villa La Ñata, Benavídez, Tigre district, where he had attended a business meeting to schedule an event.

At one point during the night, during which drugs and alcohol were consumed, the driver and model went up to a room where she suffered “respiratory failure due to acute pulmonary edema” and “multi-organ failure”, and died, according to the results of the autopsy.

The toxicological tests confirmed that Jaitt consumed cocaine and alcohol before dying in the Xanadú party room, and did not detect the presence of any poison.

The Jaitt family always suspected that Natacha’s death could have been a homicide linked to some complaints that she had made public, although for the prosecutors everything indicates that it was the product of the deteriorated state of health that she presented and the voluntary ingestion that she did that night. of cocaine.
