In May, Garay’s ex-partner received a phone call and during it only ambient noise was heard, so the situation was interpreted as intimidation towards the woman and, after the complaint was filed, it was verified that the communication was made from the comedian’s sister’s house.

From the prosecutor’s office they understood that by this action Garay violated the prohibition of approach that Justice imposed on him and accused him of disobedience.

Now, the prosecutor Mónica Fernández Poblet ordered that the benefit of house arrest be removed from the comedian and that he continue to be detained in a prison.

Judge Martínez, after rejecting the three annulments raised by the defenses of Cacho Garay and Sandra Astudillo (the other defendant in the case) to separate the prosecutor Fernández Poblet from the investigation, ruled that the humorist be transferred to jail, while the woman will continue with house arrest.
