MANILA – Three Filipino fishermen have been killed after their fishing boat was rammed by an unidentified overseas business vessel whereas crossing the South China Sea, the Philippine Coast Guard mentioned Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Monday because the boat was touring by waters 97 miles (157 km) northwest of the disputed Scarborough Shoal, a press release mentioned. Eleven crew members survived after the boat sank.
