Real Madrid will play this Sunday against Milan in their first friendly of this pre-season tour of the United States and they will arrive at this duel with the doubt of one of their latest signings, Arda Güler.

The very young and promising Turkish player did not train on Saturday at the UCLA university facilities due to physical discomfort.

Álvaro Odriozola also missed that session due to discomfort, who is not part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for this season.

The iconic Rose Bowl in Pasadena, the stadium in Los Angeles County for the 1994 World Cup final and which has a capacity for more than 90,000 spectators, will host this friendly against Milan on Sunday from 7:00 p.m. local time (8:10 p.m. Guatemala time).

The match can be followed through the Star+ streaming platform.

The duel will not only be special for Ancelotti, who was an institution as a player and coach of the “rossonero” club, but it will also be special for Brahim, back in Madrid after three years on loan at Milan.

After three days of training in Los Angeles, Ancelotti will be able to start testing the tactical changes that he has already revealed that he intends to apply in this new campaign against a major rival.

Thus, on Friday he rehearsed a 4-4-2 with a rhombus in the midfield in which Jude Bellingham, who has shown signs of great hierarchy in his first steps as a Merengue player, and Güler played the role of hook with both wingers.

Rodrygo and Brahim were the forwards ahead of Bellingham while Vinícius Jr. and Joselu took the reins of the attack with Güler supporting them in that training session.

As axes of the two diamonds were Camavinga and Tchouaméni.

This is the first of the four preparation matches that the white team has scheduled in the US.

On Wednesday July 26 they will face Manchester United in Houston, on Saturday the 29th they will play a classic against Barcelona in Dallas and on August 2 they will face Juventus in Orlando before returning to Spain.

Meanwhile, the white fans have one eye on the US and another on France after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) left Kylian Mbappé out of his tour of Japan for refusing to renew until 2025.

The French press gave details this Saturday of the drastic attitude of PSG by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who suspects that the attacker already has an agreement with Madrid to leave for free in 2024, something that the footballer has denied.
