Former President Donald Trump arrived in Manhattan late Wednesday evening, he revealed on social media, as he will appear before New York Attorney General Letitia James on Thursday for a statement.

In September, James charged Trump and three of his children with fraud and filed a lawsuit in New York State Court in Manhattan. Thursday’s statement is expected to provide evidence that the Trumps acted deliberately to misrepresent real estate values in order to obtain favorable loans and tax breaks, according to Reuters.

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump called the lawsuit “another unjust and ludicrous prosecution of the 45th president of the United States.”

The former president also said he would use the case to prove his own business success.
