Trump commemorated the fallen firefighter on the Republican Nationwide Conference in Milwaukee, every week after the assassination try, with Comperatore’s firefighter jacket and helmet displayed on stage.
Helen informed WTAE Trump’s tribute to her husband on the RNC “was an enormous honor.”

“All day on the rally, my husband saved saying, ‘He is gonna name me up on stage. You are gonna hear him. He is gonna say Corey, get on up right here!’ He was simply joking, clearly,” she defined.
When Trump paid tribute to Comperatore on stage, his household thought, “There’s his second. He is up on stage,” Helen mentioned.
