SAGINAW, Michigan (AP) — A 51-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were killed and a dozen others injured in a shooting at a large Michigan street party promoted on social media.
The shooting occurred around midnight Saturday in Saginaw, about 100 miles northwest of Detroit, state police said.
Police initially said there were about 200 people near the party and officers dispersed the crowd prior to the shooting. MLive.com reported.
Three people were also hit by cars and injured as people quickly fled the gunfire. WNEM TV reported. Investigators determined that five different weapons had been fired in the shooting.
No arrests were made.
