Local authorities are looking for two suspects after a man was shot Saturday night during a robbery in southeastern Houston, Texas.

An unknown man confronted one of the suspects regarding the alleged theft of an item at a convenience store in the 15100 block of Old Galveston Road, according to CRIV.

The incident happened when a man confronted the male suspect. The suspect entered through the passenger side of a car with a female driver, Houston Police Department Lieutenant Izaguirre explained.

The male suspect shot the man in the arm before the driver attempted to drive away, but their vehicle stopped, forcing the two to leave on foot.

At this time, the shooter and woman are still missing and police are looking for clues to locate the duo.

The police have surveillance footage and witnesses and are confident that the suspects will be found.
