A suspect stays at giant after an early morning capturing close to Virginia State College left a campus police officer in crucial situation, in line with authorities.
The capturing occurred round 1:30 a.m. when an on-duty VSU police officer responded to a disturbance on the campus in Petersburg, Virginia, in line with Chesterfield County police.
In keeping with police, the suspect ran off campus after firing pictures on the campus officer, leaving him severely injured.
The campus was placed on a lockdown following the capturing however has since lifted the lockdown, in line with the college.

The investigation into the capturing is ongoing and Chesterfield County Police Chief Jeffery Katz is strongly encouraging the suspect to show himself in.
“CCPD stands in unwavering solidarity with our companions at Virginia State College. We is not going to relaxation till the person who shot the officer is dropped at justice,” Katz mentioned in a press release on Fb.
