A 12-year-old boy in Washington state was arrested after allegedly stealing his grandfather’s automotive and driving it about 160 miles throughout the state.
Police within the metropolis of Issaquah notified the Grant County Sheriff’s Workplace on Wednesday that the boy had stolen his grandfather’s car and was believed to be headed to Grand County, the sheriff’s workplace wrote on Fb.
In accordance with the sheriff’s workplace, the boy has some connection to town of Moses Lake, positioned in Grant County.

The Sheriff’s Motor Site visitors Unit started trying to find the automotive and located the car parked on the curb of the 900 block of Lowry Road within the Larson Neighborhood in Moses Lake round 10:20 a.m.
The boy then fled within the automotive, main officers on a short chase that ended when a deputy used a PIT maneuver close to Randolph Highway and State Route 17.

The 12-year-old was taken into custody and booked into the Chelan County Juvenile Justice Middle on suspicion of possession of a stolen car and felony evading.

Nobody was injured and injury to the car was minimal, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
