Michigan officers carried out a life-saving feat alongside a busy stretch of street to help a driver who was experiencing a medical emergency.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Workplace offered footage of the harrowing act, which occurred on Sept. 12 at roughly 2:18 p.m.

Deputies Nicole Miron and Anthony Gross responded to the stretch of busy street after authorities acquired a report {that a} silver GMC Sierra was driving erratically.

As Miron and Gross got here nearer to the GMC Sierra, they tried to drag the erratic driver over. Police stated that the 63-year-old male driver did not cease and continued driving at roughly 5 mph.

The Clinton Township Fireplace Division got here to the scene and handled the motive force, who was experiencing a medical episode, police stated.

“I commend Deputy Miron for placing herself in hurt’s means to assist a citizen in want and defend different drivers on the roadway,” Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham stated in an announcement. “Resulting from her fast pondering and selfless actions, she safely ended what may have been a tragic scenario.”
