The event of the pandemic was a before and after in the workplace. It generated a new way of working by having to adapt to another reality. Remote work has become habitual and daily in our lives, as have job offers.
The possibility of working from home is not only in line with comfort, but also with the expansion of job offers, since it is easier to work in foreign companies and earn in dollars. With a computer and the internet, those job options are close at hand.
With the last US census in 2020, it was confirmed that there was an almost triple increase in the number of people doing remote work. It went from 5.7% of the population to 17.9%. In the District of Columbia, almost half of the people telecommute.
In that district, the percentage of people who do home office amounts to 48.3%, followed by Washington with 24.2%, Maryland with 24%, Colorado and Massachusetts with 23.7%. Despite the fact that different companies have resumed face-to-face work, there are many remote job offers.
The most recommended US cities
According to an analysis carried out by two United States rental companies Rent and Zumper, it was determined which are the districts where it is best to work remotely.
The first company took as data the average rental values, internet access and speed. Finally, he also took into account coworking places and the amount of population that there is with remote work. As a result, they obtained the best 10 cities for teleworking.
