Winter has begun and the garments that will accompany us in the 2023 season are coming to light. Our allies will be the usual classics: coats and trench coats in neutral tones and jumpsuits, but new ones are also added, such as garments with a puffer effect , eco-leather and tailored vests. The mix of textures, fabrics and prints are also going strong.
Favorite jokers: the tailored vest and the jumpsuit
Tailoring gained strength since last year. This winter the vest is added to complement the pantsuit. It comes to enhance the masculine inspiration and offer a relaxed formality.
In various models, the vest is intended as a basic for every day. Combined with formal shoes such as stilettos or ballerinas or more urban footwear such as sneakers or boots, it managed to monopolize all the shop windows.

For its part, the jumpsuit became an unbeatable garment. In black and nude, with an infinite number of combinations and uses, it is consecrated as the fetish piece of the coming months.

Coats: covered, trench and puffer
Covered. Classic in beige. The must-have coat is straight, has a tuxedo collar and reaches the knee: it combines with the entire dressing room. Photo: Martin Bonetto
The cover is an essential for low temperatures. The most used tones are camel, grey, beige and black. They will also be used in colors such as green, orange, fuchsia, among others. The length is to the feet or 3 ⁄ 4. It is an elegant garment that allows you to play with different looks every day.
Another coat option is the trench coat, a classic garment that never goes out of style. Since its creation over 100 years ago, it has become a garment that has stood the test of time.
Today, it is more than versatile and adapts to different occasions and styles. It can be used in both formal and informal outfits, and it goes perfectly with jeans, dresses or dress pants.
In addition, it has been reinvented over time to adapt to current trends. Currently, we can find them in various colors and materials, from the classic beige and black to more daring colors such as red or green.

And the most modern option, which has been very popular in recent years, are the puffer jackets that are here to stay.
Becoming one of the fashion hits of recent years, with its quilted design and down or synthetic material padding, these jackets are perfect for keeping us warm and comfortable.
In addition to being functional, they have also become a key element in urban and casual fashion. They go with everything: they work with jeans, sweatpants, skirts, and even dresses.
Mix: eco-leather, fabrics and prints
Mix of textures: Fabric+leather+denim. Fashion plays with different materials in a single look: overlapping is the rule in 2023. Photo: Martín Bonetto
Eco-leather, in all colours, became the trend material this winter. It is seen a lot in blazers and leggings, but we can also find it in skirts, t-shirts or tops.
This texture is ideal to give a sexy touch to the look. In addition, combining eco-leather with fabrics or prints, a very fashionista mix and match is generated.

Knitting, an artisan technique that has resurfaced in various garments, is not far behind: it has established itself as a great option to achieve cozy and warm outfits.
Sweaters are the most chosen option. They can be worn with jeans or joggings for a casual look, or with midi skirts for a more feminine style.
We can also find woven dresses, an excellent option for cooler days.
Combined with boots or sneakers for an informal look, or with heels for a more elegant style.
For their part, knitted jackets and cardigans are perfect for adding layers to any outfit.
It is also worth wearing them over basic t-shirts or blouses for a relaxed look, or combine them with dress pants for a more sophisticated style.

Finally, prints are THE item of winter. For several seasons, from animal prints to geometric and floral ones, they have been an excellent option to give a touch of personality and style to the dressing room.
It can be combined with solid colors, put together a total look with the same pattern or you can also wear several patterned garments in the same outfit, but we must make one of them the protagonist. Fashion has its rules and you have to know how to comply with them.
