“I told my mom what my dad did to me, but she didn’t believe me and laughed at me in my face,” the victim described.
A man was sentenced this Friday to 14 years in prison for having sexually abused his daughter, who at the age of 12 recounted in a school assignment, in which he had to narrate his autobiography, the hell he had lived through for several years.
According to sources from the Public Ministry of Salta, Judge Javier Araníbar, of Chamber 1 of the Trial Court, sentenced the victim’s father to 14 years in prison for effective compliance.
Specifically, the magistrate found him guilty of the crimes of seriously outrageous sexual abuse due to the time and manner of commission and sexual abuse with carnal access aggravated by custody and coexistence, to the detriment of his daughter.
The investigation began after the vice principal of a primary school in the capital of Salta denounced the situation in April 2022.
The prosecutor requested that the minor be interviewed on Closed Circuit Television by professionals specialized in sexual crimes from the Tax Investigation Corps (CIF) and that she be examined by doctors from this body.
The report submitted to the UDIS 4 revealed that traumatic events of a sexual nature occurred to the girl between the ages of 5 and 10 and that she showed lack of protection from the family group.
In addition, the professionals warned of the need for psychological treatment for the minor, in order to protect her life, while the medical report confirmed the sexual abuse with carnal access.

The victim’s teacher said he asked his students to write their autobiography. It was then that the 12-year-old girl described the hell that her father had put her through.
At the beginning of the text, he said that he was born in 2010 in Salta and that he did not like “cheese or pork”. Later, she began to give details of the abuse: “When I was 5 years old, my father sexually abused me.”
He also narrated that “when the coronavirus pandemic began”, the violations became more recurrent. “It was almost every day,” she lamented. For this reason, he assured that “2020 was the worst year” of his life.
“When I turned 11, I told my mom what my dad did to me, but she didn’t believe me and laughed at me in my face. That’s why when I’m doing something important like my homework or anything else I lose focus because I’m constantly thinking about her laugh, I also have a hard time trusting others,” she revealed.
Finally, he maintained that when he turned 12 he cried “because he was very afraid that he would return” to his home. And he added: “Although my life was always sad, I try to always be happy and fulfill all my dreams.”
