The epicenter of the tremor took place in the department of Comayaguacentral region of Honduras, at a depth of two kilometers, the institution indicated.
The brief report from the civil protection agency on Twitter adds that the telluric movement occurred at the coordinates 14 degrees North and 87.7 degrees West.
The Secretary of State in the National Risk and Contingency Management Offices indicated that, according to reports from the Fire Department, no material damage or victims were reported from the earthquake.
