56.4 percent of Montenegrins voted this Sunday in the parliamentary elections, according to preliminary figures.
The voting process which started at 07:00, ended at 20:00 across the country.
Meanwhile, counting of votes has begun for 1,038 polling stations. The first figures are expected to be published at 21:00.
The Electoral Commission of Montenegro will publish the official results on Tuesday.
The parliamentary elections held on Sunday were the third in nine months and the twelfth since the establishment of political pluralism in the country, which are expected to determine whether the NATO member can overcome deep divisions and political instability to continue the journey towards the European family.
