According to local media reports, 15 Israeli websites were hacked.
The attacks targeted public broadcaster KAN’s websites, banks, telecommunications companies and government agencies, Maariv newspaper reported on Tuesday.
A hacker group known as ‘Sudan Anonymous’ has claimed responsibility for shutting down websites.
Tuesday’s cyberattacks came a day after the same hacker group claimed to have hijacked the websites of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad and the National Insurance Institute.

‘Solidarity actions’
The cyberattacks came as Israel commemorates its national day marking the country’s founding on the wreckage of Palestine in 1948.
This day is referred to by the Palestinians as the “Nakba”, which means disaster.
Israeli websites are occasionally subjected to cyberattacks as acts of solidarity with the Palestinians amid rising tensions in the occupied West Bank.
More than 100 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire since the beginning of this year, according to Palestinian figures. During the same period, 16 Israelis were killed in different attacks.
