Canada’s gross domestic product grew 0.1 percent in February as construction and finance grew, while retail sales and manufacturing slowed.
Statistics Canada reported on Friday that growth in February was a slowdown from January’s 0.6 percent increase.
Advanced data for March suggests that for the first quarter as a whole, the total value of all goods and services sold in Canada grew by just 0.6 percent.
