Francisco Oropesa is said to have killed five out of ten people in a neighbor’s house.
A suspect believed to be Francisco Oropesa, the man accused of shooting five people in an “execution-like” mass shooting in Cleveland, Texas, has been taken into custody following a multi-day manhunt, ABC News has confirmed.
San Jacinto County DA Todd Dillon confirmed the news. Multiple federal law enforcement sources also told ABC News that the man, believed to be Oropesa, has been captured.
The FBI is expected to give a press conference at 9:30 p.m. ET.
The massacre took place Friday night after neighbors asked 38-year-old Oropesa to stop firing his AR-15 into his yard because a newborn was trying to sleep, authorities said.
