Unconditional love: the gendarme married his partner, a hairdresser.
One is a hairdresser, the other an active carabinieri. Giuseppe Pezzuto, a 29-year-old hairdresser, and Angelo Orlando, a 39-year-old military sniper. They tied the knot in a stunning ceremony on May 8 in Brindisi, Italy.
The spectacular ceremony was historic: it was the first time that a military man married his partner, wearing the official uniform.
Angelo Orlando and Giuseppe Pezzuto are from Apulia. They have lived in Rome for a long time, but they returned to Apulia to say “I do”. The date chosen for their union, May 8, was not accidental: that same day, some 60 years ago, Orlando’s parents were married. They no longer live, but his son took them with her, wearing their wedding rings in her hand.
