A body was found Tuesday morning in the dry wash of the Los Angeles River near the Neighborhood Elysian Parkauthorities said.
Firefighters discovered the body around 7:30 a.m. in the 400 block of 19 North Avenue, the The Los Angeles Fire Department said in a press release.
The Los Angeles Police Department has launched an investigation into the death. It had no details on the cause of death.
