This Thursday, May 25, Provial reported that a traffic accident was recorded at kilometer 209.5 of the CA-2 western route, in Coatepeque, Quetzaltenango.
A trailer overturned at the scene and two people were injured, for which they were taken to a nearby hospital.
The accident vehicle temporarily blocked the eastbound lane and Provial agents alternated the passage of vehicles.
In a shared video, it is observed when a group of people approached the place and took merchandise that was moving the car.
The 47-second recording shows when people did not measure the risks and crossed in the middle of traffic to get to the trailer.
Some carried two boxes with merchandise and one of them threw one in front of a passing minibus, this with the apparent intention that another person would grab it.
Seconds later, an agent from the National Civil Police arrived who prevented the group from continuing to carry the merchandise.
