Hello Tractor is an advanced agritech platform that uses IoT technology to connect small farmers with tractor owners, enabling them to work their land efficiently and cost-effectively. Our platform gives farmers access to the latest agricultural services, enabling them to increase their yields and improve their income. We also employ community-based booking agents who gather demand on behalf of farmers and match that demand with tractor owners, enabling farmers to work their land on time and at a fraction of the cost of manual labour. This gives tractor owners access to more farmers to keep their assets productive.
Hello Tractor’s mission is to improve farmers’ lives with the world’s best agricultural services platform. To date, we are the largest and fastest growing tractor contractor network in emerging markets, with more than 3,000 customers on our platform, serving more than 650,000 smallholder farmers, with more than 50% reporting first-time access to mechanization and mechanized over 1.8 million acres of farmland. Our pay-as-you-go tractor financing product has grown to a USD $5 million facility, with over 300 farm equipment financed in Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria.
