Chicago saw 11 people killed and 46 more injured in shootings over the Memorial Day long weekend, just one death off the city’s record, according to the Chicago Police Department.

On Tuesday, several of the injured were still in critical condition in city hospitals. The massacre was only surpassed by a record 12 fatal shootings in 2015. In one incident, a woman was stabbed to death barely two blocks from the home of new Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson.

The oldest victim of the weekend’s violence is 55, while the youngest was just 14. The young girl suffered a gunshot wound to her right arm as she stood on the curb with a group of people around 10 p.m. Saturday, according to ABC7 Chicago.
