Gov. Kristi Noem is calling out Target for supporting a group pushing for Mount Rushmore to be sealed off.

The South Dakota Republican joined “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday to respond to the milestone being called a “symbol of white supremacy” by an activist group that receives funding from Target’s nonprofit.

“That store is fundamentally destroying this country and we need to have real conversations about how serious we are about protecting our freedom.”

The governor was questioned over Fox News Digital’s revelation that Target, through its nonprofit foundation, which was run by the retail giant’s senior corporate treasurers, funded a grantee pushing to close and give away US sovereign land like Mount Rushmore – believing that this would happen to be an “international symbol of white supremacy” and to demilitarize the “violent” US military.

The same beneficiary also supports the destruction of Israel’s Jewish character through what is called the Palestinian “Law of Return” and the implementation of economic warfare tactics against the Jewish state, such as boycotts and sanctions, to “liberate Palestine.”

The Target Foundation’s web page reflected that it was funding the 2022 NDN Collective, a South Dakota-based non-profit organization whose revenue stream has reached as much as $50 million+ according to its 2021 tax return. NDN operates with a “racial equality lens” and is “committed to building Indigenous power
