For the prosecutor Jorge Cáceres Olivera, the lines of investigation that indicate the case of the disappearance of Cecilia Strzyzowski as a femicide are “very strong.” That is why this Tuesday changed the cover of the case. It was during an intense day but one of absolute secrecy, where the members of the “Sena Clan” declared tonight before the Justice of Chaco.
Emerenciano Sena (58), his wife Marcela Acuña (51) and César Sena (28, their son and Cecilia’s husband) testified at the Third Police Station in the city of Resistencia almost late in the afternoon. Hours earlier, the other defendants in the case had declared at the Criminal Offenses Prosecutor’s Office: Fabiana González, Sena’s assistant, and Gustavo Obregón, her husband, who was also a private driver and a kind of César’s bodyguard.
They also testified Gustavo Melgarejo, landlord of the Sena camp; and two other people. “The title page is currently femicide, we have a very strong line on what this fact has been,” Cáceres told Clarín concisely.
Cecilia Strzyzowsk, the young woman who has disappeared in Chaco since June 2.
“We know that society demands results and we are working on it. Different remains of biological materials were seized that have to be analyzed by experts. They are skeletal remains, we hope that the results will be available this week,” he added, regarding the evidence found in the Field of the Seine
It is a pig shop located on the outskirts of Resistencia where they would have taken Cecilia’s body. It is a field of approximately 100 hectares owned by the Sena family in the town of Campo Rossi, in the department of 1° de Mayo.
The interest in the case is total. For this Wednesday, a massive march is expected at 8:30 p.m. in the 25 de Mayo square and “in each small town of Chaco.” “And, if possible, in each province; and if not, you can honk,” he asked the press. As he considered, what happened with his daughter “happens everywhere.”
The march is in the heart of a city shaken by a case that affects the family that “everyone is afraid of”. It is that the Sena continue to have power even when they are in jail.

This Tuesday, audios of Sena himself were released, sent from prison to his followers to designate their replacements while he is detained. He carried a particular message: “Do economic activities because we need money.”
In the audio, of just a few seconds, Emerenciano delegates the political part of the movement to two figures he trusts. “I tell all my neighborhood comrades, today Aurelio and José Suarez drive. All the teachers, fellow workers, health centers, libraries, picnic areas, inside and outside comrades hold a permanent meeting and explain this permanent situation until I recover my freedom”, explains the referent.
Then he closes by making a request to reinforce the Movement’s box: “Do economic activities because we are without money and we need money. Not only to eat those of us who are detained but also to buy things that will be useful. Until victory, Emerenciano Sena”, close.
Who also spoke was Acuña, wife of Emerenciano and also arrested. There she tried to bring a message of tranquility so that the organization does not stop working.
“It has to be like we are,” said the reference, and left a strong message: “We are going to get out of here, I don’t know when but we are going to get out of this.” She also left the latent possibility of mobilizing the people of the Emerenciano Movement, the piquetero group of the imprisoned leader. Fearing the group is that the inquiries were taken in separate places.
On Sunday there are PASO elections in the province and both referents of the piquetero couple headed a collector’s list of Governor Jorge Capitanich, who since the outbreak of the scandal has been seeking to break away from his former partner.
Both Emerenciano and his wife appointed criminal lawyer Juan Carlos Saife this morning, an eminence in the province, according to Diario Norte. Saife was also an official of Capitanich, he presided over the New Bank of Chaco
Threats to the whole family
Since the explosion of the case, Cecilia’s family has received multiple threats, according to what they told Clarín. Strange cars that follow the lawyers, WhatsApp messages and social networks or direct phone calls, threatening to kill the grandmother of the missing girl. “We are going to do the same thing to Cecilia,” they launched from a private number.

Meanwhile, this Tuesday the Chaco Attorney General incorporated two prosecutors into the team. This is Nelia Velázquez (Resistencia Investigation Prosecutor No. 5), who will join the investigation along with her peers: Chamber prosecutor Jorge Fernando Gómez and Investigation Prosecutor No. 4 Jorge Cáceres Olivera.
It was one of the demands made by the family, who considered the team that was taking on the case insufficient. “There are three people for a huge cause,” they said.
“During this morning, the Special Prosecutor Team (EFE) advanced with the investigations into the hijacked vehicles and the Institute of Medicine and Forensic Sciences collected samples to analyze,” the provincial justice reported in a statement.
For its part, the provincial Ministry of Security and Justice said that “the EFE formed a table to analyze evidence with authorities from the General Directorate of Investigations of the Chaco Police.”
“During the meeting, held at the Police Headquarters, the judicial and police officials worked on the design of follow-up strategies for the case, which is in the middle of the stage of analysis of the evidence collected, awaiting the evaluation of the statements testimonials made to the detainees,” they added.
Although the cause changed its cover on Tuesday, the family knows that it was a femicide a few days ago. It was an error in communication, an official slip where they told the family that “they promised to find Cecilia’s body.” Until that moment they still had hopes of seeing her alive again.
