The citizen extradited from Greece, accused of the execution of 2 citizens (father and son), in Elbasan, carried out as part of a structured criminal group.

Within the framework of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with its counterparts, for the localization, capture and arrest of citizens declared internationally wanted, in order to extradite them to the country where they must serve their sentence, they were caught in Greece and France and extradited to Albania , 2 Albanian citizens declared internationally wanted for various criminal offences.
– As a result of the cooperation with Interpol Athens, citizen JL alias OL Alias GL, 44 years old, resident of Gjirokastër, was caught in Greece and extradited to our country.
This citizen has been arrested by the police authorities in Greece, with the aim of extradition to Albania, pursuant to the international arrest warrant issued by the Interpol National Central Office Tirana, after the GJKKO has approved the criminal decision dated 12.06.2020, of the Elbasan Judicial District Court, which has determined for this citizen, the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offenses “Murder in other qualifying circumstances against two or more persons” committed in cooperation, “Production and possession without permission of military weapons and ammunition “, “Structured criminal group”, “Participation in a structured criminal group” and “Committing crimes within a structured criminal group”.
In 2012, in Elbasan, the 44-year-old, in collaboration with the citizen EB (in the role of executors) and some other citizens, killed the citizens AB and NB (father and son) with firearms.
-As a result of cooperation with Interpol Paris, citizen Redi Dizdari, 43 years old, previously convicted, was caught in France and extradited to our country.
This citizen has been arrested by the police authorities in France, with the aim of extradition to Albania, pursuant to the international arrest warrant issued by the Interpol National Central Office Tirana, after the Court of the Judicial District of Tirana has sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offense of “Production and selling narcotics”, for which he has 4 years and 29 days of imprisonment left to serve.
In 2014, in a bar on “Kongresi i Manastir” street, Tirana, the services of the Tirana Local Police Directorate found and seized 106 doses of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa. The investigations showed that citizen Redi Dizdari possessed the doses, with the intention of selling them to school students.
Both extradited citizens were handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons, for further procedural actions.
