JAKARTA — After blessing his youngest son to run in local elections, Indonesian President Joko Widodo is taking steps to seal his legacy and ensure his power continues even after he steps down, analysts said.
Kaesang Pangarep, 28, stated on YouTube on June 14 that he will run for mayor of Depok, a satellite city in West Java, next year.
