It happened in Lobería, a town in the southeast of Buenos Aires. The boy’s mother told how the aggression was. The defendant must testify in court.
“Here, the boys can still play in the square in peace, what happened does not change things”, Yanina Alvarez gives context to the town in the southeast of Buenos Aires where she lives and that this week she recorded an episode that broke with her usual monotony and altered the neighborhood: a man, “out of nowhere”, attacked his 11-year-old son, who was playing in a square with a group of friends.
The attack was recorded by municipal security cameras and some private ones, and soon the images went viral. By then, the Police had already acted and later, the Justice issued a restraining order for the attacker.
This is a 54-year-old man who lives in front of the square of the 24 de Octubre neighborhood, located about six blocks from the center of Lobería, a town located in the southeast of Buenos Aires between Necochea, Tandil, Balcarce and the sea; It is about 40 km from the beach. He was identified as Pedro Leónidas Nogueira.
Based on the actions carried out by the assistant in Lobería of the Fiscal Instruction Unit No. 1 of Necochea, in charge of José Cipolletti, during the course of the next week, for “minor injuries”, the aggressor must appear in the courts to be notified of the accusation against him.
“The moral reproach is more important,” summarized a Necochense legal source about the unfortunate episode that an 11-year-old boy had as a victim, since the crime, because it involves minor injuries, is of a minor nature in relation to the savageness of removing the belt to beat up a little boy.
“I was with my friends in the square, as always. He goes to school in the morning. It was three in the afternoon and a neighbor came to tell me. When I came out the police were already taking care of my baby. A friend told me who it was, and I faced him. I had never seen the man. I asked him: “Why did you hit my son? Because he was rude,” he told me,” the mother told this newspaper. “And he went home like nothing happened.”
As he explained, based on what his son and his friends told him, the man approached them, “he began to say things to them and I ask them who was the most fucking. My son was the one who told him: you. There he went into the house and He came out with a belt. From the marks left on my son, I can tell you it was a thick belt.”
Prosecutor Cipolletti, in addition to a restraining order for the victim to approach his group, ordered Nogueira to “prohibit all types of contact and cease acts of disturbance” for a period of four months. He also referred the proceedings to the Victim Assistance Center.
“He is fine now,” Yanina told about her son, “although scarred on all sides, and his mood is better,” said the mother: “He has already come out to play, because I don’t know what problems this man has, but this is a place don’t worry”.
