Debris from the Titan submarine carrying a catastrophic implosion in the Atlantic Ocean was towed ashore last week.
Large chunks of metal were unloaded Wednesday morning from the Canadian ship Horizon Arctic in St John’s, Newfoundland.
Had an underwater robot dived to the ocean floor to search for the Titan during a multi-day, international search.

The salvaged debris was covered with large tarpaulin when it came ashore on Wednesday. The pieces were lifted onto trucks with cranes and taken away for assessment.
Some pieces seemed to show the outer hull of the 21-ft ship.
All five passengers on board the Titan perished during the expedition to the wreckage of the Titanic, which lies about two miles below sea level, about six hundred miles off the coast of Newfoundland.
