The platform confirmed the news of the month. The new season of The Witcher and the new NFL series: Quarterback stand out.
Like every month, Netflix updates its catalog with the arrival of new series and movies, as well as the second parts of some of the most anticipated seasons on the platform. With the aim of exceeding the numbers month by month, the company has already announced all the premieres of series and films for July.
Among the Netflix highlights for the seventh month of the year are the third season of The Witcher, the biopic “Wham!” which tells the story of how the duo between George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley was formed, and Bird Box Barcelona, the Spanish version of the hit film starring Sandra Bullock.
In turn, the new sports series Quarterback will also arrive on the platform. This is the first official collaboration between Netflix and the NFL, as they do with other sports, it will closely follow the 2022 American football season with exclusive microphones on each of the players during all games.
Netflix: The Witcher premieres its third season
The series will closely follow Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota on and off the pitch: they will accompany them not only in training sessions and games, but also in their daily lives and living with their family.
It will also feature exclusive footage from the day Mahones broke the NFL record for offensive yards and won the league and Super Bowl MPV.
The most anticipated Netflix releases for July
Among the most anticipated debuts by Netflix users is the third season of The Witcher, the series starring Henry Cavill (Geralt de Rivia), Freya Allan (Ciri) and Anya Chalotra (Yennefer). It premieres on July 27 and will be the last season in which Cavill plays the character, since he will later be replaced by Liam Hemsworth.
For its part, the first week of July will premiere the film “Some in-laws to take up arms”, starring Adam Devine, Nina Dobrev, Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin. The film will address the bank robbery directed by Owen Browning (Devine) and the main defendants are the family of his future wife.

Another of the most anticipated shows is Bird Box Barcelona, the Spanish version of the Netflix original film starring Sandra Bullock in 2018. The film covers the story of a group of people who must flee the city to survive the danger that haunts the entire population.
